Service Administrator - Germany

We provide servicing and support services to our customers worldwide and you will play an important role by managing the daily administration of these service and support tasks. You will track the open customer support tickets and ensure that the service level agreements are achieved. You will also prepare the project documents before and after commissioning and you will be the first contact person for our external certified service partners. At our facility in Cologne, our expertise is in the development, production and distribution of high quality fiber optic systems for distributed temperature measurement and structure monitoring. Typical areas of application are the monitoring of high-voltage cables and overhead lines, the thermal analysis of oil production and the fire protection in tunnels, as well as in fire-hazard buildings and facilities.

The Role

  • Professional management and timely execution of our service and repair processes; including communication directly to customers and to our field support team.
  • Prepare all the documentation needed for projects’ commissioning; co-ordinate with the Customer and arrange training.
  • Daily monitor and track executions of services task and advance the status of tickets.
  • Manage operational relationships with certified services partners, contracts and services agreements.
  • Maintain services data and prepare weekly performance reports.
  • Respond to customer service issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and document all customer service activities and discussions.
  • Communicate and interact with a variety of stakeholders: Service managers; Sales Administration; Technical Managers; repair team and production.

The Individual

  • Proven relevant experience of Service Administration within a fast-paced, international technical working environment.
  • Our preferred candidate should ideally have practical experience of managing a wide geographical base of customers; ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction is generated. Any experience within the distributed Sensing industry is advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge and experience with MS office and ERP systems (ideally dynamics 365) will be expected.
  • Strong communicator with great listening skills; able to manage conflict and work at all levels with cross functional teams. A high level of fluency in the English language is required – written and verbal.
  • Inspirational relationship builder with the ability to deliver commercial and operational messages and positively influence stakeholders from a wide audience.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
