For our Supplier Quality Hub Module, we are looking for a committed and experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure continuous focus on the qualification of suppliers and materials for our Offshore Nacelles production. Supplier Quality, as a part of Offshore Procurement, has the overall responsibility for securing that suppliers meet Siemens Gamesa´s product requirements.

About the role As a supplier Quality Engineer, you will be conducting supplier and product qualifications of materials (Fasteners) for Nacelles production. You will be ensuring that the product and process quality of suppliers is compliant with Siemens Gamesa´s specification´s and requirements.

You will also be investigating, analyzing and correcting quality discrepancies in products and qualities of suppliers to minimize costs of poor quality. As well as you will be formulating an annual supplier strategy in relation to quality and representing the Supplier Quality department within the respective commodity team handling Fasteners.

About you You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent professional background combined with professional experience in an international company. You possess good knowledge of relevant processes and production techniques related to fasteners.

You have practical experience with qualification tools (e.g. APQP-PPAP) and auditing experience in accordance to ISO 9001. Candidates with a Lead Auditor examination will be preferred.

As a person you are self-driven and quality-oriented. You have a structured approach to your tasks and you are a dedicated team player with strong and communication skills. You are capable of interfacing with numerous parties at all levels in a multicultural environment.

You possess excellent English and IT-skills.
