Area Sales Manager - Poultry, China

As SKOV continues its successful growth in the Chinese market, we are looking for an ambitious individual to take on the role as Area Sales Manager – Poultry and become a part of a dedicated sales team to influence not only his/her own direct area of responsibility, but the development and direction of the overall region.

Area Sales Manager will become an integral part of a company that strives to maintain its role as an industry leader, and a company that values and emphasizes its employee's personal development, welfare and education.


  • Become an expert adviser to customers on optimal solutions for Poultry production;
  • Drive the sales of Poultry projects within designated territory;
  • Identify and Develop new potential China distributors;
  • Maintain and develop cooperation with existing partners in order to further strengthen these sales channels;
  • Participate in marketing activities (exhibitions, road shows, seminars, etc.);
  • Conduct market surveys and continuously update management on market status as for both development and trends.


  • Bachelor's or higher in Business and/or Agriculture from a top university;
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agriculture/Poultry field;
  • Industry Sales Experience - selling to Chinese Top 10 Poultry Producers, existing contacts within the industry will be a plus;
  • Successful, with a clear track record of meeting personal KPIs, accustomed to working with, and achieving clear and measurable sales targets;
  • Highly business-oriented and competent in negotiating complex commercial contracts;
  • Dynamic and outgoing, able to spot a potential that can be transformed into proposed solutions for customers;
  • Able to work independently, have a great work capacity and are good at creating contacts and long-lasting relationships across organizations and cultures;
  • Native Chinese with Fluency in English (written as well as spoken);
  • Master in MS Office and CAD software + a general flair for IT.
  • Cooperative, structured, robust and able to stay calm and maintain the overview in stressful situations;
  • Flexible in every sense, a person who is aware of the relation between time, quality and money;
  • Able and enthusiastic to travel overseas.
