By joining Danfoss you will have the chance to make a difference within our global workplace and to be part of our successful and professional team. There is more than one way to this position, you can be in the beginning of your career or already have more solid work experience.

As our new Software Engineer, you will participate and contribute to one of our largest projects within motor control. You will be a significant part of full project cycles from specification to validation and release through Software Product Lines and platforms. With a solid understanding of real-time embedded software technologies, you will secure that development projects meet the deadlines and quality objectives. Other areas of responsibility will be to:

  • Participate in successful introduction of Model Based Development and tools for automated code generation and continuous integration
  • Maintain the existing platform and ensuring high quality in all deliveries
  • Perform debugging at application and hardware/software level
  • Manage and coordinate development activities with both internal and external stakeholders

Final tasks and areas of responsibilities can be defined based on the experience, knowledge and potential of the chosen candidate.

To be successful in this position, we expect you to hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electronics or Computer Science, topped with experience in developing real-time embedded software. Alternatively, if you are a less experienced software engineer or maybe a recent graduate, you will have the opportunity to grow and gradually release your potential in the role. You have experience with C and Mathworks MATLAB/Simulink, and knowledge of Power Electronics, Digital Signal Processing, Python Scripting and Agile Software development.

On a more personal note, you are driven by new trends and technologies and can embrace the ongoing changes and challenges that we meet every day. You are known as a team player with good time and project management skills. You have a communicative approach and it’s easy for you to co-operate with different stakeholders. Since we work in a global company, it is a necessity that you master English both written and spoken. You can work independently, and you have a can-do attitude, which you use to acquire new knowledge and find the right solutions.

We look forward to receiving your application not later than 10th of November 2019. Please note that we will handle applications on a continuous basis, so do not hesitate to apply as soon as possible.
