The context:
The newly Supply Network Operations (SNO) organisation will orchestrate our products’ end-to-end activities along their value chains and will be the catalyst for establishing a customer-centric, seamless product flow that provides our patients and customers with the highest possible level of service. SNO contains all key supply chain operating processes as well as the newly established Product Value Stream Leadership group.

Your mission:
As a permanent member of the Supply Network Operations leadership team, the incumbent will define the SNO strategy and will lead the realization of it. The incumbent will coordinate and engage cross-functionally all relevant stakeholders, translate the SNO strategy into work-packages, assign owners and track implementation and impact. The incumbent needs to ensure full consistency with the TechOps and Company defined strategy.

Main responsibilities:

  • Work closely with various SNO/TechOps stakeholders in leading the development of the SNO Strategy with clear plans for implementation, including opportunities to streamline operations, disrupt the current business model, challenge the status quo
  • Guide end-to-end strategy deployment and propose adjustment for existing strategies
  • Map and monitor business risks across the End-to-End Value chain. Adapt Strategy and propose actions to mitigate those risks
  • Support SNO leaders in translating Strategy into actionable and quantitative plans
  • Ensure alignment of Performance Management & monitoring systems across the End-to-End Network
  • Ensure the definition of the SNO road map and the generation of the transformation execution plan
  • Support the Value Stream Organization set-up

Required Experience & Competences:

  • Master degree in Engineering, Economics or equivalent ideally seconded by an MBA
  • 5+ years international experience in different areas of Technical Operations Management
  • 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry; thorough working knowledge of cGMP, GDP.
  • Relevant experience in top-tier consulting Firms
  • Thorough background in Lean and Supply Chain Management
  • Previous experience in a Senior Management position
  • Relevant experience in Change Management
  • Relevant exposure to Executive Management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional team without authority
  • Relevant experience in strategy definition and implementation, strategic planning experience
  • Experience of Project Management in an international environment and/or with a complex scope
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Technically inclined – finance acumen
  • English fluent
