The CHALLENGE
We are looking for a Sales Executive Nordics to join our Meat, Fresh & Dairy Business Unit in Amcor Flexibles Europe, Middle East & Africa. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Manager Nordics & Benelux and will work on the dedicated existing and new customer portfolio of 5M€. The geographical area you will be responsible for is Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, thus your role will require about 50% of traveling. The location of our position is based in Denmark, with preference for Horsens (site-based) or home office based within the geographical scope.

In this challenging position, your main objective will be to build strong relationship with the clients, ensure smooth running of sales and achieving sales, sales growth and profitability targets in the territory. You will be responsible for managing accounts in the territory and supporting global and region accounts. The role maintains frequent face-to-face communication and establishes win-win relationships with new and existing accounts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop account strategies for new and existing accounts
    • Establish & maintain strong relationships and face-to-face communication with accounts.
      • Act as the direct, primary face-to-face contact with existing accounts.
      • Establish strong, multi-level, win/win relationships with existing accounts. Focus is to:
        1) Proactively identify new business opportunities
        2) Maintain strong win/win relationships
        3) Understand existing and future account requirements
        4) Arbitrate between plants and customers when there are disagreements and/or issues with regard to issues such as quality, AR etc.
      • Identify and align resources, action plans and communications required to execute account plans and resolve issues
    • Prospect & Develop New Accounts
    • Be the expert in the territory and of the customer
    • Develop and execute negotiations and contracts
    • Forecasting, Budgeting and Reporting
    • Identify account needs and key buying factors beyond price
    • Assess account opportunities, account trends and define aspirations
    • Identify key decision makers and influencers beyond purchasing and develop close relationships with those decision makers
    • Be the conduit to develop multi-functional relationships between Amcor and core territory accounts
    • Develop and maintain action plans for how accounts will achieve targets and identify specific actions to improve earnings
    • Develop and maintain an account plan for each core account
    • Develop and maintain an account file for each non-core account
    • Maximize sales, sales growth and profitability of accounts in the territory

      • Actively prospect for new customers to develop the territory especially in France
      • Establish strong relationships with prospects. Focus is to:
        1) Proactively obtain and qualify leads
        2) Develop and understand customer requirements, matching these to the appropriate Amcor Value Proposition
        3) Close new accounts

        • Provide accurate monthly forecasts for the accounts in the territory
        • Provide quantitative and qualitative feedback on competitors
        • Anticipate changes in the marketplace and account behaviour/needs and report to management

          • Develop, manage and execute contract negotiations with Direct Control Accounts
          • Manage negotiations/resolution of product, quality, and service issues

            • Responsible for forecasting and budgeting sales activities by existing accounts and assure the completion of these targets
            • Monthly reporting of the sales activity in the area

            WHAT YOU BRING
            Formal Qualifications and Experience

            • University Degree preferably in Business Administration, Engineering Degree or similar
            • A least 3 years of experience ideally with a field sales or customer management experience
            • Experience working within an international, matrix organization
            • Knowledge of the packaging business is a plus
            • CRM Systems, salesforce.com is a plus
            • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, powerpoint)
            • Fluent Danish & English, other Nordic languages will be an asset
