Your new role
On behalf of our client, Baxter, Hays is looking for a Sr. Therapy Specialist to join the Baxter Renal Care Team. Baxter Renal Care Nordic Team is committed to advancing dialysis therapy in ground-breaking and meaningful ways by providing innovative products and services that help healthcare professionals improve the quality of dialysis treatments and simplify therapy delivery for the diverse and growing population of end-stage renal disease patients.

As a Therapy specialist, you'll be responsible for all pre-tender sales activities, accounts generation and relationship building within the Copenhagen area and East part of Denmark. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining a good, long-term working relationship with customers along with expanding existing accounts within your own region (purchasers, doctors, nurses, technician’s, heads of department and administrators). In addition to this you will deliver effective sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information and demonstrations, and pricing quotes to prospects. While working closely with your sales colleagues, the home therapy specialist, tender manager, marketing manager and of course the sales manager for Denmark you will be a part of a new product launch and see the effect on the market.

Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel. The focus area will be around Copenhagen and the East part of Denmark.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to successfully occupy this role, you preferably have experience from Renal HD/PD/Acute, are used to the clinical language and have a technical understanding of the Renal product.
On a personal level you enjoy being in front of a crowd presenting and thrive when you are negotiating with prospects. In addition to this you are quick to understand and adapt – especially when our customers’ needs change. The position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies. It is vital that you possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills and therefore can also demonstrate business acumen, accountability and strong knowledge of sales processes.
