YOUR MISSION:

The Facilities Specialist is responsible for performing all operational tasks listed below in an efficient and highly service-oriented manner to maintain high quality standards. In the role acts like the interface between technical stuff and suppliers for all facilities.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver all Facilities-related services to internal customers by identifying, analyzing, and resolving issues / requests autonomously.
  • Run the delivery of on-site services, including third-party suppliers for cleaning, preventive / corrective maintenance, furniture, etc.
  • Perform the preventive and corrective maintenance on Facilities’ installations.
  • Ensures the management and control of key activation for all buildings.
  • Manage the furniture according to the Ferring standards for all buildings.
  • Coordinate and execute the offices moves on the different buildings.
  • Control the cleanliness of the site (Inside and outside of buildings).
  • Support the organization of events from the facilities perspective.
  • Ensure the management and control of all building layouts.
  • Follow all internal or external interventions in Oracle GMAO system.
  • Form and maintain regular awareness of aspects related to safety and the environment.
  • Establish and keep up-dates of SOP’s, MML, technical standards for Facilities projects and Facilities Works.

Projects:

- During execution, ensure that projects meet business as well as quality requirements.

- Ensure efficient link between operation team, define and contribute to projects selection.

- Up-date the technical documentation and layouts after modification on building.

- Ensure that facility comply with all appropriate technical design, installation, commissioning and operational requirements as well as time and cost requirements.

- Ensure a regular awareness to Safety aspects. Actively work to close assigned safety actions.

  • Communicate the Safety Health and Environment Policy in line with EHS Policy (waste selective improvement, energy and water consumption, ergonomics at workplace, EHS Event and near miss records). Respect of these EHS rules.
  • Participate to the ‘’Service de Piquet’’ for all Utilities / Facilities / building installations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCES:

  • Technical degree (BTS, ET) with an education in Facility Management or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience in Facility Management.
  • Problem solving skills, can-do attitude and pragmatic mindset.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.
  • Good knowledge in specific software will be an asset (AutoCAD LT software and Oracle GMAO system).
  • Management of external resources and Project Management.
  • Flexibility in the work and real sense of the service. Loving contact with customers and knowing how to keep an overview even under stress.
  • Sense of priorities and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Fluent in French and English, other European language a plus.
