The Graduate journey
Our Graduate Programme consists of two-three rotations, where you’ll solve business challenges, be responsible for your own assignments and be engaged in our day-to-day business decisions.

In your rotations, you’ll work on developing new offshore wind opportunities in existing and new markets in the APAC region. This will include identifying the most promising offshore wind projects as well as optimising project designs and bidding strategies, enabling Ørsted to successfully participate in future offshore wind auctions.

You’ll play an important role in

  • understanding regulatory framework and project opportunities on one of our existing markets in collaboration with an experienced Market Development Manager
  • monitoring and engaging in new market opportunities for our offshore wind business as well as reporting on developments in global markets and supporting recommendations on new market opportunities
  • analysing our competitors’ projects in order to determine their competitive strength and designing our own bidding strategy
  • preparing presentations and decision material for our Group Executive Management
  • assisting colleagues with other ad hoc tasks.

To succeed in this role, you’ll have

  • a master’s degree in finance, economics or business from before 1 September 2020 with excellent results
  • strong analytical skills
  • a high level of personal drive and a high learning ability
  • the ability to engage with many different stakeholders and plan robust processes
  • an international, collaborative mindset and an ambition to be the best in your field.

You’ll speak and write English and one of the Asian languages fluently, enabling you to communicate efficiently in a global setting. Moreover, you’ll have the opportunity to travel up to 60 days annually.
