If you're looking at a performance marketing job I'll bet you're all about efficiency, so I'll keep this short

TL;DR: scale paid social channels, manage big budgets, create and brief ad concepts, and run ads that perform like crazy.

We're looking for someone who can manage and scale our paid social channels Pleo with confidence.

You'll be the kind of person who is fearless when it comes to experimenting with new ad concepts and targeting approaches, and who knows when to stop things, or when to put fuel on the fire and get campaigns to scale while it's still producing results.

You're the type of person that has a good sense for which content performs well on paid social ads (and also which don’t) and you are skilled in constantly coming up with new ideas for concepts that you translate into briefings that our creative team, the brand studio, can execute on. At the same time you work with a lot of attention to detail when it comes to ad operations and have an analytical mindset when it comes to assessing performance.

There are a couple of fun parts about this role for performance marketers.

The first part is that you can experiment widely: you'll have a big budget to play with (we're talking a minimum experience with budgets of $2M a year, while making sure your CAC is as low as possible of course).

The second part is as we are in and open new markets, you'll have localisation with which to experiment. You’ll work together with country marketing managers who know all of the nitty gritty things about a market, and will provide you with input for paid social ads to roll out.

The last part that you'll enjoy is that we'll have a content and brand studio of which you will be the triple AAA tier customer. This includes everything from localised copywriters, a content lead, visual and motion designers, as well as a video producer. There is a Director of Brand & Comms who will run this part of the business, so you'll be rest assured that you'll get the assets you need when you need them.

The nitty gritty skills needed

    • Deep knowledge of paid social channels (the usual Facebook, LinkedIn, and as a plus also Youtube, Google Ads, Twitter and so forth)
    • Test new creatives and targeting approaches all the time, with an ability to test out new ideas (and know where to get inspiration)
    • Have an unemotional relationship to creatives, and know to make decisions based on performance
    • Have an analytical mindset when it comes to evaluating success metrics of your campaigns (ROAS, ROI, LTV, CAC, CPL … )
    • Communicate well in English

We'll geek out if you

    • Have some experience with design programs yourself (Photoshop, AE)
    • Have worked a performance marketing machine before including tracking, attribution, automation
    • Master all things spreadsheets, pivot tables that sort of thing.
    • Have experience in forecasting
