EDITRON is the new name for the complete electric drivetrain system developed by the company. It is controlled by powerful software that optimizes each individual component of the electric or hybrid drivetrain, leading to far more intelligent management of power distribution in order to deliver maximum efficiencies for the end user.

Danfoss Editron is strengthening its Quality team and is in the search of Advanced Supplier Quality Engineers to our office in Lappeenranta (FI) or Nordborg (DK). In this position you will make sure that our Suppliers will reach the Danfoss Quality standards. This position requires travelling, both domestic and abroad.

If you take the challenge as one of our new Advanced Supplier Quality Engineers, you will be facilitating Supplier Quality in New Product Development projects to ensure meeting Danfoss and Customer expectations and quality targets by final handover to production. You will be Subject Matter Expert in core quality tools (e.g. PFC, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC etc.) and explore / develop new ways to proactively secure quality. When needed, you will support quick and effective Supplier PPAP approval of components used in New Product Development projects. Furthermore, your areas of responsibilities will be to:

  • Review Supplier PPAP documentation package for New Product Launch and in case of changes
  • Facilitate Supplier claim handling process to ensure effective and efficient results
  • Facilitate Supplier audits or / and self-assessments at selection & qualification phase and for monitoring purposes
  • Develop QEHS system processes (including Change Control and Waivers) related to Suppliers to comply with applicable requirements
  • Support of corporate Supplier Quality function, when needed

To succeed in this position, you have Engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical, preferably) and 3+ years of Supplier Quality experience. You could also have gained Project management experience which helps you to adjust to this position. Your negotiation and communication skills are excellent, and you will flexibly find ways to reach the Quality goals. You communicate effortlessly in English, both written and spoken. Local language (Finnish or Danish) is beneficial to master. Your approach is proactive, and you smoothly work with different stakeholders, internally and externally. The most important stakeholder groups for you will be Suppliers, Procurement, Warehouse and Operations (production & product development).
