Help us take LEO Pharma to the next level within automation at our biggest site in Ballerup
Do you have experience within project management and automation in companies working on GMP requirements? If you at the same time are looking for a job where you not only have exciting tasks, but also major influence on the future automation setup of a large and successful company, this is just the right job for you. That is, if you also want to work in a very good and well functioning team that emphasizes quality, respect and collaboration.

Technical project management and development of our setup for the future
You will unfold your skills at LEO Pharma’s HQ in Ballerup where we have our biggest factories. Now we have increased our focus on automation even more, and that is why we need you. You will work on two parallel tracks. One is to keep the production running via our existing systems – with an additional focus on continuous improvements. The other is to help us take automation to a whole new level. In this LEAN will be an important component with board meetings, structured problem solving and continuous improvements. Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Project manage technical automation projects – specs, plans, coordination and budgets
  • Draw up documentation for qualification – in collaboration with specialist colleagues
  • Contribute to define and implement technical standard solutions
  • Contribute to general optimisations across documentation, tools and processes

Your projects last from a couple of months to 9-10 months. Typically they will take half a year, and you will normally be handling 3-4 projects at a time (in various stages of maturity). To succeed, you must be good at building constructive relations to a wide span of colleagues and partners including your customers at the factories (Chemists and Operators), QA colleagues and external consultants.

Automation experience from a GMP environment
We are looking for profiles that thrive in an environment without a full set of global, standardised processes – you will among other things contribute to creating more adequate processes. You must be used to deliver high quality within agreed deadlines and budgets – also if it sometimes requires a little extra. That you can do, because you are good at collaborating with all kinds of people and because you have the communication skills to explain “why it is important”, “what is going to happen”, “who is going to do it and when” backed by outlining of the benefits for the involved. Additionally your CV comprises:

  • A technical degree within engineering or the like
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as Project Manager in an GMP automation environment
  • Knowledge and motivation for working in a highly regulated environment
  • Ideally experience in areas like production IT, process electricity, databases and systems like iFIX, 800xA, SattLine etc. – but not a requirement for applying

Please note that we can match tasks and challenges to fit your level of experience, so if you are more experienced we can ensure your on-going learning and development

Your new team
You will join 14 skilled and very dedicated colleagues in Ballerup. As support we are using a varying number of external consultants that work as a naturally integrated part of the team. Together we are responsible for automation at the factories at LEO Pharma’s biggest site. We have a two side focus on keeping the production running smoothly and visionary development of the best possible setup for the future. We share a passion for top quality, and we know that we can only succeed as a team where we share knowledge, help each other and never forget to have fun together.

We look forward to receiving your application.
