Are you ready to lead the transformation from conventional to digital-based marketing blend of tactics? Can you catalyze and lead the evolution from generic to specific contact/account-based marketing practices at Universal Robots? Then you could be our next Global Communications Manager.
In this role, you get prime responsibility for pinpointing our suite of Marketing Communication expressions to our expressed sweet-spot geographical, vertical and application markets to achieve commercial growth targets. You act as the facilitator of our marketing transformation towards leading-edge digital marketing evolving our people, marketing blend and ability to run metrics-driven Marketing operations.

Your success is primarily measured in geographical, vertical and application MQL reach, brand awareness and your own ability to measure and capitalize on the customer journey.

Grow our global marketing potential
Reporting to VP Global Marketing and Communication, you define the communication strategy, challenging status quo and optimize the mix of channels to create an engaging brand experience.

You also lead a multifunctional marketing team spanning across country borders, driving effective working relations and collaborative processes across regions and functions, thus enabling you to leverage content opportunities and share best practices. Acting as the owner of the global launch & content calendar and editorial process, you plan and drive implementation in collaboration with regional, digital and PR teams. And in extension to this, you align central and regional marketing plans, tactics and expressions.

Your other key tasks include:

  • Developing and implementing integrated marketing communications strategies and plans globally to increase brand awareness / value for all relevant stakeholders, supporting strategic business priorities and growth
  • Manage the central Marketing budget and oversee the company’s worldwide Marketing spend, including prioritizing and recommending marketing communication spend e.g. use of external agencies and events. Identify opportunities to drive increased ROI
  • Manage and continuously evolve brand framework, company/technology messaging and visual identity
  • Generating measurable market demand and establish an accelerating marketing influence in the company’s overall growth path
  • Connect Marketing Communications activities with our Lead Generation & Qualification targets, producing demand-generating global campaigns to help drive business objectives
  • Produce successful product, software and service launches
  • Drive the development of creative concepts and campaigns, including design and production of content for use across platforms e.g. copy, photography, graphics, collateral, video, white papers etc.

Furthermore, you establish relevant thought-leadership/industry leading content-marketing based on trends, insights and business priorities, balancing global and local needs.

You can expect around 20% travelling internationally.

Your great cross-cultural understanding and impeccable organizational skills grants you the ability to eloquently manage people, projects and processes across borders.

To succeed, we further imagine you

  • Hold a Masters’ degree with a major in Communications, Marketing or another applicable field
  • Have +5 years’ communication management and people management experience in an international B2B environment
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in global brand development, as well as transitioning Marketing into the digital domain. This includes Thought Leadership
  • Possess excellent creative skills, and employ them in strategic problem-solving and creative development
