The Explorer Programme
Our Explorer Programme is designed to turn your textbooks into practice and accelerate your professional growth. We offer you an intense four month internship where you’ll become and integral part of the strategy team. You’ll be tasked with solving some of the toughest challenges Ørsted is facing in close collaboration with a team of experienced strategists, and you’ll report directly to the Head of Strategy.
To accelerate your professional growth, we’ll assign you a strategy mentor and a graduate buddy, and we’ll give you training, feedback and coaching to enhance your skill set and consulting toolbox.
You’ll play an important role in
- initiating and developing strategic projects
- monitoring market trends and future opportunities
- creating material for top management
- collaborating on cross-company projects
- directly communicating with top management
To succeed in this role, you
- are enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, strategy, economics or similar with excellent academic credentials
- have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- have personal drive and a high learning capacity
- are passionate about business strategy
- have an international and collaborative mindset
You’ll speak and write English fluently, enabling you to communicate efficiently in a global setting.
The internship is unpaid. However, it’s combined with a paid part-time student position for approx 14 hours per week (approx DKK 10,000 per month). You should expect to work approx 20 hours per week in total. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to receive a one-time performance-based bonus.
