At Bambora we are on a mission to create the most customer focused payments experience. Join our Oddly Human team in Victoria, BC, an Integrations Specialist. The Integrations Specialist will work with the sales team, internal stakeholders, and external clients on integration projects. The Integrations Specialist will also work with different internal teams in order to manage project deliverables, and to ensure a high-quality final solution both for Bambora and the client. Our Integrations Specialist will need to effectively manage timelines and estimates on projects. You’ll do all this and more!

What you will do:
In this role you will work closely with all members of the Sales team, such as Business Development Managers and Account Managers to provide pre-sales engineering support to our clients and partners. You’ll also work with our internal team to:

  • Gather requirements to build out integrations solutions for our clients.
  • Provide documentation and testing assistance during the integration process – ultimately you will “certify” new integrations to Bambora per our internal certification program.
  • Provide internal 2nd tier support as needed for key partners and clients as requested by the Customer Care Team.
  • Work on post go-live support needs and with Customer Care on migrations.
  • Accurately track and report key performance indicators and other metrics.

You’ll work closely with Product and Technology on Product designs, enhancements and competitor information. When things come up, you’ll provide feedback to Product so they can help serve our partners and provide the most customer focused payments experience. You’ll be our client advocate as needed and will consistently ensure a high level of service.

Working closely with our ISV partners, you will:

  • Scope out client requirements and potential project efforts.
  • Provide documentation and testing assistance in line with the project plan during the integration process.
  • Accurately track and manage project costs and efforts for the duration of all projects.

Who you are:

  • You have 1-3 years of experience working in a sales support or technical support role, with a passion for payments, e-commerce, and finding the right solution.
  • You have strong technical skills. When it comes to trouble shooting, you’re always the first one on the scene looking for solutions. If you know anything about API’s, software integration, or payments that’s a huge bonus - so keep reading, this may be the job for you!
  • You’re highly creative, with a proven ability to think outside of the box to find solutions.
  • You’ve been referred to in past jobs as a “team player” – and you are, a team player. You’re willing to Be Collaborative with others in the Zoo, but you’re also able to take initiative in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • You have exceptional verbal and written communication skills – you are able to effectively communicate objectives, technical issues, and requirements in a way that all stakeholders can understand. You’ll be familiar with communicating via email, Slack, Skype, phone, and more!
  • You’re an organization wizard. Your time management skills have been honed from years of prioritizing and managing workloads – as such, you’re able to manage numerous competing priorities while still staying cool as a cucumber.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience in the payments industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • A University degree in Business or Computer Science is preferred.
  • Experience with coding in different languages would be a huge plus!
