Part-Time Lecturers in English Business and Corporate Communication

Applications are invited for a number of permanent posts as part-time lecturer within the field of English Business and Corporate Communication. The appointment begins on 1 February 2020, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The appointments are
Applicants must hold an academic degree in English Studies or a relevant related field at Master’s Degree level or higher. All teaching takes place in English and applicants must therefore have native or near-native level of English language proficiency.

The persons appointed will be required to contribute to (and possibly also take responsibility for) courses in the following areas within the English degree programmes (BA major and minor, MA) curricula: Professional texts: analysis, production and translation; web-based communication; internal communication; sustainability and environmental communication; and digital communication

Work assignments and hours are agreed with the department prior to each semester. It is not possible to guarantee teaching in each semester. Working hours are regulated by Circular on the Agreement on Part-Time Lecturers at Universities.

Qualifications
To be employed as part-time lecturer requires qualifications at Master's degree level as well as additional high-level qualifications, e.g. special theses, knowledge or practical experience gained through employment in the professional field related to the academic specialisation in question. Teaching qualifications form part of the assessment basis.

Formalities
Employment conditions are regulated by the collective agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
Employment conditions are regulated by the Circular on the Agreement on Part-Time Lecturers at Universities.
