Your responsibilities
As an Area Sales Manager, you will be the company’s face towards our customers in North America, Southern Europe and The Nordics and will develop the business in close collaboration with our dedicated Marine team.

With reference to the Group Business Development and Marketing Director, you will be responsible for the development of Frese in the Marine segment and grow the sales pipeline within the existing customer base as well as acquiring new customers in your allocated geographical territories. To be successful, you will:

    • Plan and execute customer sales meetings with focus on promoting and selling our product portfolio of Marine valve technology.
    • Implement relevant strategic initiatives from our Marine Strat Plan 2020
    • Participate in fairs, symposiums and facilitate captive customer seminars.
    • Prepare quotations and follow up on these.
    • Evaluate and optimize our “Route to market”; develop existing sales partners and identify new ones where its relevant.
    • Manage forecasts and sales reporting using MS Dynamics CRM, MS Dynamics NAV & MS PowerBI
    • Provide valuable customer insights to the organization that can lead to new product developments and/or product extensions
    Your qualifications
    • Education: Marine Engineer, Mechanical Engineer/Technician or equivalent
    • Experience with fluid- and/or thermodynamic related products, knowledge of valves and hydronic systems an advantage but not a must have.
    • Experience with new build ships as well as retrofits is anticipated.
    • Relevant work experience from the international marine environment (min. 3 years)
    • Well established network of contacts in the Maritime Segment, would be an advantage.
    • Language skills: Danish and English, written and spoken.
    • “I can” attitude with documented results

    Company Headquarters are in Slagelse (60 min. from Copenhagen), where you will be located.

    Travel should be expected, approx. 50 days per annum.
