What do we offer

Converge is seeking experienced Sales individuals to join our Account Management team to help us with our expansion plans. The role is sales focused and target driven. You will be responsible for securing new business and also maintaining an excellent level of customer service to current customers. You will maintain Converge’s market image by adhering to our quality and trade manifest, and remain up to date on industry trends, market activities and the competition. This is a business to business sales and purchasing role, in a very dynamic and commercial working environment, where electronic components are bought from and sold to technology companies.

What do you need

An enthusiastic and a commercial attitude, a bachelor degree and/or highly successful sales experience in the electronic component sales field, and be a motivated self-starter. You must be very comfortable with growth, change and have a positive, entrepreneurial attitude to the future.

Experience in working within the Nordic market.

English and Swedish or Danish or Finnish language

To be successful in this role, furthermore you need:

Strong selling skills and ability to influence at all levels within external customers

Customer-orientation and sympathy

Prospecting and presentation skills

Technical knowledge

Energy, creativity and focus

What will you do

Establishing relationships with key contacts at major customers in a business development role, including making customer visits and attendance at trade shows. You will be responsible for securing new business and also maintaining an excellent level of service to current customers.
Maintaining Converge’s market image by adhering to our quality and trade manifest, and remaining up to date on industry trends, market activities and the competition.
Closely working with Converge internal departments and Arrow for securing and maintaining business opportunities. Team and collaborate with other account managers assigned to your global account.
Prospecting and identifying new business opportunities within assigned account or market segment or geography. Map out customers, with all key decision makers, grow and retain networks into key account(s).
Keep management informed of strategic market trends and conditions that impact the performance of Converge solution within defined marketplace.
Actively participate in a continuous improvement effort designed to maximize results of the business development, account acquisition, and account penetration process. Must develop and maintain effective presentation skills for the portfolio of professional services Converge offers to its target audience.
Develop and implement customer engagement plans for services. Support training and preparation of clients and ensure smooth launch and ongoing use of services.
