As our new Head of Fixed & OSS you will be responsible for a great team of highly skilled specialists, working with network modernization, implementation of MPLS, SIP-trunk, and development of internal software systems (e.g. Operation Support Systems). Our key deliverables also include testing of software and hardware like phones, routers and tables and support of, and co-operation with, Telenor’s core- and IP Transmission Network departments. There is also an important assignment in improving the operation of the Telia, Telenor Network (TTN) and securing all relevant interests related to this area.

We are searching for a leader who, as Head of Fixed & OSS, has a solid knowledge about technology and Telco-network, and are able to use this experience to guide the team in the right, strategic direction. You should also be able to represent the team’s deliveries, while working cross-functionally within and outside of the organization – including managing relationships among different stakeholders, operating partners and network providers. Last, but not least, you are a robust and inspiring personality, who rely on your team members expertise and arguments when discussing strategy with the remaining management team in our Technology-division. You have a solid technical background and strong stakeholder management skills
The ideal candidate has a solid technical background and have gained experience with people management from a similar position. You have a natural interest in both people and technology, and thrive in a dynamic role, where no two days are alike. You are passionate about driving things forward, and want to help your team succeed, so we can develop our business. You are the type of person who lead the way, sets an example and know your employee’s strong points. Therefore, our new Head of Fixed & OSS need to possess strong interpersonal skills and a natural authority. Stakeholder management is key in this role and the team needs a visible and sympathetic manager, who are willing to challenge ideas in a well-argued manner.

Also, we hope you can add the following to the position:

  • Great people management skills and a sincere interest in each team member
  • Well-developed stakeholder management capabilities
  • Solid problem-solving mindset with a structured approach to complex problems and ability to identify solutions
  • Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken
  • Experience from the Telco-industry is a plus, but not a requirement
