As Payments Area Manager Denmark, you will be part of Telia Company’s Payment-as-a-Service unit. You will be located at be located at Telia headquarter in Denmark.

Payment landscape changes and opportunities are my passion. Together with my colleagues I’ll drive change on how payments business is run at Telia. I’ll contribute to making sure we have the best customer experience, the most efficient way of working and the best possible support for the core businesses on the payments area.

Welcome to Payment-as-a-Service!
Payment-as-a-Service is a new unit in Common Products and Services in Telia Company. We share the passion for optimizing the payment customer experience, future proof our payment solutions as well as exploiting opportunities for new business and better ways to pay.

We would love to see you to take the lead on our cooperation with Telia Denmark to make sure we’ll have the best payment methods and payments customer experience in the customer channels and in carrier billing business. You’ll have an international team to support you on our joint mission. You should expect occasional travelling to meet the other members of the team.

Your next challenge?
As Payments Area Manager, you will play a central role in making it possible for Payment-as-a-Service to meet its goals in Denmark. You will continuously focus on ensuring a strong relationship with Telia Denmark by adding value to local businesses and customers. You will work with local businesses and product development as well as local channels and customer value management as well as local finance, legal and risk management.

Who are you?
You have the insights on payments landscape trends and changes overall and especially on the Swedish payments market. You have strong interest in following these up on continuous basis going forward. Your strengths are in utilizing business opportunities, cooperation building and communication and you always have the customer in focus. You have experience on the payments area and on the commercial role preferably from both B2C and B2B segments.

Also, we expect you to be customer oriented and to live our core values: dare, care & simplify. It is important for us that you can see simplicity where others see complexity. That you take constant care of the customer, colleagues and the company at large and ultimately that you dare to be you, don’t try to fit in, just show up and truly bring your entire character to work.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Consult and support Telia Denmark on payments related matters
  • Act as commercial lead in creating the local roadmap and execution for Telia Denmark to take Payment-as-a-Service offerings into use
  • Act as one point of contact in between Payment-as-a-Service and Telia Denmark
  • Secure that Payment-as-a-Service solutions meet the needs of both consumer and enterprise customers as well as Telia Denmark area businesses
  • Conduct market research & benchmark analysis to explore new business opportunities
  • Monitor and supervise the PnL and performance KPI´s
  • Run local steering groups to make sure local needs are collected and filtered and information is shared between Telia Denmark and Payment-as-a-Service
  • Represent Telia Denmark in Payments Forum to make sure Payment-as-a-Service can support the local needsWe would love for you to:
  • Be fluent in English
  • Have a university degree or similar
  • Have strong cooperation and communication skills with ability to simplify your area of expertise to others
  • Have strong change and project management skills
  • Dare to be yourself, make decisions and change the way of working
  • Care for your colleagues and see the customer in all your stakeholders
