Field Service Engineer – Monitoring and Analytics & Therapeutic Care

In this role, you have the opportunity to

work with Philips patient monitoring solutions (MA&TC) and be part of a top team delivering high quality services and technical solutions for Danish health care professionals.

You are responsible for

  • Serves as the technical resource for implementing new releases at existing customer sites or implementing less complex systems at new customers.
  • Prepares site assessments.
  • Provides technical review of system configurations to ensure viability of system performance.
  • Prepares as-built drawings to document work completed during project or particular job.
  • Resolves standard customer issues requiring independent judgment based on IT knowledge and skills.
  • Provides remote and on-site technical support to installed customer base.
  • Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the Philips solution.
  • Performs regular maintenance, completes required technical modifications, and conducts troubleshooting and repair to remedy issues.
  • Sales support activities, designing the most suitable solutions for our customers
  • Acting as a specialist and be actively part of tender processes.
  • Ensuring high quality by following good documentation practices and quality processes.
  • Participating to technical negotiations and solution presentations with customer IT and Biomedical departments.

You are part of

the Philips Customer Service organization in Denmark and belong to the Monitoring Analytics &Therapeutic Care support team.

As a Field Service Engineer MATC, you will work mainly towards our Danish hospitals and our customers are located all over Denmark with focus in Region Hovedstaden and Region Sjælland. You will be part of our strong Service Engineer Team with 25's colleagues. You preferable are located near our office in Copenhagen.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor degree or equal to, preferably from IT or Electronics technology.
  • Previous experience as technical specialist or similar positions.
  • Previous working experience with medical devices and understand the special character working in the hospitals is preferable.
  • Knowledge on networking (CCNA, CCNP, CWNA, CWTS or equivalent) and IT infrastructures (VMWare, Hyper V, SQL Server)
  • Fluency in Danish and English.
  • You are customer oriented and stress-resistant and have a great interest in technology and the new IT development in medical technology systems. You should also be independent and responsible. A good ability to meet customers is another important feature and you can work with others. You will be comfortable in an environment where many things happen at the same time and a lot of work is done at the customer's premises in the hospital environment.
