Triton is an investment firm that invest primarily in German-speaking countries, the Nordic countries, the Benelux region, France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.

The role is to act as a HR Business Partner to the teams based in Stockholm, Norway, Finland and Denmark offices (62 employees). You will report to the HR Director in London but work closely with the management team in the Nordics.

The successful incumbent will proactively deliver a comprehensive HR service, providing commercial, practical, consistent, professional advice and support on any HR related matters, whilst driving best practice and ensuring compliance with company procedures, documented policies and employment legislation.

The role is a part-time position of approx. 20 hours per week.

The main areas in this role are the following:

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders
  • Use insights to influence and guide managers through employee relations including; grievances, disciplinary matters, capability issues, flexible working requests, long and short-term sickness absence, mediation, redundancies and restructures.
  • Be a consultant to your client groups, being sought out for advice and solutions to complex matters and ensure all activities are compliant with internal rules, regulations and current employment legislation
  • With the support of a shared HR Coordinator (based in London), manage the recruitment process for selected vacancies ensuring a consistent and fair process
  • Contribute to the annual performance and compensation review process
  • Manage the Exit process for employees, including conducting exit interviews and providing feedback to the business

To thrive in this position, you should be a positive team player with a strong ability to build relations with stakeholders. In addition, you successfully combine robustness with pragmatism, have sound judgment and a proactive and solution-oriented approach. As a person you have energy and drive – this is a fast-paced environment. You are commercially focused, proactive attitude, self-starter with a “can do” attitude.

Additionally, we are looking for someone with a university degree or equivalent, for example within human resources, psychology or management – and likely 7-10 years of work experience. You have excellent knowledge of employment law, HR procedures, policies and also stakeholder relationship management skills, able to build effective working relationships across a wide range of levels and locations, internally and externally.
