Send Application Electrical Maintenance Engineer PBS (Semco UK) are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in the Oil and Gas industry.

You will have 5 years’ relevant experience working in a maintenance environment.
A BSc in a relevant Engineering Discipline and SAP experience are preferred.
Main responsibilities are for the delivery of the day-to-day maintenance support tasks assigned by the Maintenance Coordinator / Team Lead within a Smartroom environment:

  • Provision of day-to-day electrical engineering support for the Platform.
  • Maintenance of close links with Technical Authorities to ensure that system integrity is preserved.
  • Ensuring that all planned workscopes are identified and included in short and long-term asset plans.
  • Challenging maintenance activities and applying risk-based techniques to optimise maintenance activities and periodicities.
  • Critically reviewing maintenance strategies to maximise maintenance efficiency and reduce waste
  • Review and where necessary compilation of workpacks for offshore review and subsequent implementation.
  • Frequent liaison with team leads and offshore technicians to resolve electrical equipment problems.
  • Coordination of vendor requirements to support electrical equipment planned and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Maintaining close liaison with reliability engineers to support reliability improvement programmes, RCM analyses and maintenance strategy development.
  • Participation in RCA processes and investigations.
  • Assist in performance of equipment maintenance and spares reviews.
  • Ensuring satisfactory close out of all actions identified in all workscopes.
  • Preparation of regular report requirements by due dates and specific reports by the agreed date
  • Preparation and management of delegated cost centre budgets
  • Proactive in supporting and promoting HS&E processes and requirements
  • Knowledge and understanding of CMMS (UNISOL).
  • Regular liaison with key stakeholders to review and update Electrical maintenance content in SAP
  • Raising of work orders and service orders in UNISOL
  • Initiation Management of Change work scopes developed through the maintenance process.

Context and environment

PBS is a consortium of the companies PONTICELLI, BRAND and SEMCO dedicated to the TEPUK GMOC Contract.
This position is allocated to PONTICELLI or Brand. In that way the jobholder must be aligned to partners expectations and would be managed by a partner lead

Accountabilities

Reporting to the Smartroom Maintenance Coordinator, the Electrical Maintenance Engineer is responsible for delivery of the day-to-day maintenance support duties assigned by the Smartroom lead engineer for all related electrical equipment types on the Platform. Additionally, they are responsible for assisting the Rotating Equipment and Static Equipment Technical Authorities, and reliability engineers in the development of maintenance strategies and associated maintenance routines. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will work closely with the Maintenance Planner to ensure that short and long-term maintenance activities are identified, prioritised, planned and executed.

Qualifications/Experience required

  • Operational support experience in both onshore and offshore oil & gas environments is essential.
  • Professional Experience (years): 5 years
  • Experience in similar position (years): 3 years
  • Level / Diploma: BSC engineering discipline preferred but not essential
  • Languages: English
  • Training / Certification: SAP user
