The Global Marketing department develops and manages the global portfolio of concepts and products – short, medium and long term - and are responsible for developing a portfolio which can deliver to the consumer sales and profitability objectives of the LEGO Group. The Marketing team are responsible for identifying conceptual opportunities based on the overall marketing objectives and strategies and for developing these opportunities into strong product and marketing concepts for the global market. This includes the development of packaging and campaign material as well as the marketing function is approving product and campaign execution.

Core Responsibilities
• Take ownership and be the driver in executing a strong and insight-based communication strategy, campaign development and marketing toolbox, through partnership with advertising agency, lead markets, LEGO® ecosystem stakeholders (e.g. LEGOLAND, Magazines, LEGO® Life etc.) and external media agency.
• Partner with the regional marketing teams to secure alignment to the communication strategy/toolbox and outstanding execution in markets.
• Be the Marketing Conductor. Take ownership and drive the campaign briefs and ensure development is accordingly to strategy and brief, and that it delivers on brand DNA
• Relationship management.
• Be the center point and ensure strong and good collaboration with all stakeholders within the LEGO® ecosystem (e.g. LEGOLAND, Magazines, LEGO® Life etc.) and external (e.g. IP Car manufactures, media agency etc.), to ensure strong brand presence across all touchpoints. Ensures the key important metrics are met and initiates corrective actions with markets if needed.

Do you have what it takes?
• Master degree in business-related field, ideally Marketing.
• Has a passion for and/or experience working with children as a target audience.
• Min. 4 years of proven experience.
• Brand marketing professional with solid experience of delivering innovative + integrated marketing campaigns that have contributed to the growth of a brand.
• Expertise in the full spectrum of communication touchpoints, especially digital.
• Strong track record of turning consumer, shopper and market insights into action.
• Ability to drive meaningful innovation. Has demonstrated a willingness to take calculated risks and agility in responding to the changing external landscape.
• Proven track record leading + developing informal teams and managing broad partner networks.
• Willingness to travel 20 days per year.

Ideally you also have following skills:

• Previous SAP experience.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Strong partner management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Embraces diversity and sees change as an opportunity.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, responsiveness and attention to detail.
