Associate Director, Training and Operations Partner, R&D

The Role

Reporting to the Head of R&D Operations, the Associate Director, Training Operations Partner R&D will be responsible for optimizing training need, cross functional learning and knowledge sharing in our R&D area.


  • Support Genmab R&D with identifying and collecting training needs, cross-functional learning, information and knowledge-sharing
  • As Veeva Training system owner, ensure Genmab GxP LMS is continually fit for purpose
  • Maintain knowledge on communication, informatics, learning and training technology and use of tools for training development
  • Maintain knowledge on relevant regulatory requirements
  • Effectively use technologies to manage training
  • Support manager and Global Development team with ad-hoc tasks and assignments
  • Maintain an excellent working relationship with Global Clinical Development and proactively contribute with own competencies to bridge-building across the organization


  • Establish Training Framework: Training management, competence management and training methodology
  • Project manage training development projects, ensuring deliveries are on time and of appropriate quality
  • Oversight of GxP training curricula
  • Maintain reports and dashboards to demonstrate compliance and for quarterly QMR
  • Participate in Veeva governance and development forums to ensure efficient use of system to support GxP training
  • Partner with R&D departments in maintenance of curricula and identifying training needs
  • Develop, and where appropriate, deliver training to support desired changes in performance related to process and system development in Global Clinical Development
  • Implement training adhering to adult learning theory and methodologies, ensuring learner-centric instructional design that supports desired change in performance
  • Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the R&D training area knowledge and information-sharing
  • Participate in cross-functional training and learning & development forum
  • Maintain and provide input to relevant procedures


  • 10+ years’ experience within a similar role
  • Proficient in English
  • Strong ability to work in a structured and orderly fashion with attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of training activities within GXP areas (GCP and GMP)

  • Ability to work successfully under pressure in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • You have good interpersonal and communication skills You can work independently as well as within global teams
  • A team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders
