The Corporate Finance & Strategy team consists of six people, and the team is responsible for TORM’s long-term financial forecasts, investor relations activities and selected larger strategic, financial, and capital market projects. The team is part of TORM’s CFO area. We provide high-quality strategic and financial advice and support to TORM’s Board of Directors and the Senior Management Team to secure ongoing focus on TORM’s strategic position as well as financial effects of commercial decisions. Further, the team provides high-quality communication to investors and equity analysts through quarterly earnings announcements, investor presentations and ad hoc stock exchange announcements.

What we can offer

Your primary responsibility will cover TORM’s Investor Relations supporting the listing of our share on Nasdaq in Copenhagen and Nasdaq in New York. You will be responsible for the execution of TORM’s Investor Relations strategy and get the opportunity to engage with a large group of investors, analysts and advisors across different jurisdictions supporting your professional development. As part of your job engagement, you will also be representing TORM towards a number of external stakeholders where a professional appearance is important. You will be supporting other areas within the team, but your main responsibilities are expected to include:

  • Quarterly earnings releases
    • Development of non-financial elements of the report
    • Supporting Management with e.g. presentation material
  • Annual Reports (not financial statements)
  • Investor and equity analyst dialogue
    • Coordination and participation in investor road shows
    • Development of investor presentations
    • Stock exchange announcements
    • Review of analysts’ models
  • Coordination of corporate action events such as dividend payments, share buybacks and share issues
  • Equity capital market transactions (US or Denmark)

Through the position, you will gain significant insight into TORM’s financial and strategic situation, which in the long run could be used as a step towards another position within TORM.

To succeed in the job

The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of relevant work experience, and the position can be seen as a great learning opportunity. We are looking for an ambitious and passionate person, who has a strong personal drive and thrives in a dynamic and challenging work environment. You are able to present complex issues in a short and precise manner which reflects your strong analytical and communication skills. Due to the nature of the role it is important that you pay attention to details and appreciate the value of controls and checks.

We imagine that you have the following skills and competencies:

  • High-level Excel modelling, PowerPoint and Word skills
  • Strong drive with focus on quality, delivering results and meeting customer expectations
  • Impeccable English skills both spoken and written
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (crisp, confident and clear) and ability to communicate with people at all levels
  • Strong adaptability to changes, and you are comfortable with ambiguity
  • Willingness to take responsibility and lead outcomes
  • Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team
