Project Manager for Business Intelligence and Reporting

Join us in a position where you get to influence our processes and activities by supporting and advising Group Compliance on Reporting & MI at all levels and across the Group.

The Reporting & MI Team is a core part of the Group Compliance organisation and sits within the Chief Operating Office. The team is primarily responsible for the engagement across the lines of defence within the Group. We design and implement data and MI solutions and deliver timely and insightful reporting to senior management, EL T and the board of directors. Also, we engage in close dialogue with internal stakeholders and communicate analytical insights and conclusions across a range of critical oversight areas.

In Group Compliance, our function is to assist management in ensuring that Danske Bank and its employees comply with applicable laws, regulations and ethical standards in order to mitigate Danske Banks compliance risks. Group Compliance provide an independent oversight of compliance risk management and governance to assist Danske Bank’s management in promoting a strong compliance culture within the Bank. The Group Compliance function is the primary 2nd line oversight function for Regulatory Compliance, Conduct, and Financial Crime Risk Management, to ensure integrity across all business units and countries and to maintain the trust of our customers and society at large.

The Compliance department has grown significantly in the last year and we need experienced and skilled professionals to continue the development of this important function.

Project Manager with strong organisational and project management skills
As Project Manager, you will own the annual plan for the team, ensure that deadlines are met and work with stakeholders to ensure their contributions are timely and accurate. The breadth of areas covered will enable you to develop a sound understanding of the Group’s operations and business model which will require strong stakeholder management skills to build and sustain a network of key relationships.
Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Support the Reporting and MI team lead by creating and owning the annual team plan
  • Document and own the reporting framework and processes
  • Creating and understanding the Reporting and MI team workflows
  • Ensure all reporting to deadlines, audit findings and other requirements are delivered on time and with the right quality
  • Manage the Quarterly and Semi-annual reporting processes and ensure that reports are delivered on time and accurately
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders from across group compliance
  • Identify opportunities for MI automation to drive greater self-service and to enhance oversight of compliance risks

The team you will join works closely with other Group Compliance areas as well as across all lines of defence (e.g. Group Risk, Legal, Internal Audit, etc.) and has primary responsibilities for delivering the Group Compliance Quarterly Report to the Executive Leadership Team and Board.

In this role, you must possess an analytical mind-set with a strong focus on attention to details. We are looking for you who is self-motivated, ambitious and oriented towards problem-solving. You have a proactive approach to engagement and the delivery of solutions and strong communication and collaboration skills to promote team cohesion and relationship building with stakeholders.

Further we expect you to have:

  • A strong knowledge of Project Management is a must.
  • An educational background that demonstrates understanding of project management.
  • A proven track record of having a consultative mind-set, being able to flexible and adaptive to the needs of the team and working with multiple stakeholders
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written
