ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Omada looks to accelerate the growth of the company, it has a requirement for a Global HR Director reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and forming part of the executive leadership team. The role is responsible for the development and execution of the company’s people strategy. Omada is highly focused on growing the business and understands the importance of its people in achieving its business objectives. Omada is the Greek word for Team and forms a strong part of the company’s culture. This strategic hire will play a pivotal role in the development of the company and its long-term future.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE:

  • Strong HR Generalist with more than 5 years leadership experience
  • International HR experience with good labor law knowledge. US, Germany and Nordics are desirable
  • Ability to work at all levels and happy to be hands-on and highly strategic in the same role
  • Experience in culture change programs in fast growth organizations
  • Strong recruitment experience at all levels and experience of building a long-term hiring strategy
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills and the experience in leading teams not under your direct control
  • Experience of developing a global location strategy within a hi-tech company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and fluent English with other European languages an advantage
  • Proved ability to work at Board and Investor level
  • Mobile and able to work from different locations as required

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement the companies People Strategy to ensure a high performance and engaged workforce in alignment with the overall company strategy
  • Implement and maintain modern people processes and procedures in line with the nature of the business and its needs. These should be agile and efficient and not create bureaucracy or barriers
  • Implementation of a modern fit for purpose HR platform that can be built on over time to automate and delegate standard people functions
  • Build and maintain a consistent job architecture and career path model for the organization with the associated process to support individual career development and progression
  • Be a trusted advisor for managers and leaders in the organization on people related matters
  • Working with the leaders in the organization build career development and talent programs where required
  • Take leadership in the development of employee pulse surveys and the associated actions plans for continuous improvement
  • Develop and implement a global location strategy working with the appropriate executives to ensure a highly efficient and effective model is created
  • Take leadership in developing the company’s recruitment strategy, approach and method to ensure high performing quality talent is recruiting into the company
  • Supporting managers in succession planning and talent identification and development as well as performance management on a regular basis
  • Provide management reporting on a regular basis and as required concerning people related metrics

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:

  • Deliver against the milestones and deliverables outlined and agreed in the People Strategy
  • Work within the overall budgets and ensure the overall HC budget and operational budgets are maintained
  • Provide ongoing KPI measurements for the people aspects of the business on a regular basis and as required
  • Timely and efficient recruitment to ensure HC levels are maintained in line with budgets
  • High levels of employee retention with specific focus on identified top and future talent
