THE JOB

We are looking for an experienced pharmacovigilance (PV) profile with knowledge, experience and drive to take on a role as an outgoing expert and enabler for the pharmacovigilance business. You will be responsible for an assigned pharmacovigilance area in a global organisation and contribute to driving, implementing and ensuring that our PV System is compliant and robust. In the position you will be trusted to make critical decisions on your own and in general plan and carry out your tasks the way you find most efficient. You will be able to unfold your skills in an environment of trust and knowledge-sharing.

You will report into the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance and will contribute to maintaining and further developing the Ferring PV system as well as maintaining the Pharmacovigilance System Master File. Across your tasks you will naturally ensure compliance and contribute to on-going optimisation of processes and you will make your mark in various cross-organisational teams.

Pharmacovigilance Training

Your essential tasks as PV training subject matter expert will be to:

  • Develop and maintain training material for local safety officers and other stakeholders
  • Plan, coordinate and perform training of local safety officers
  • Conduct global pharmacovigilance training within Ferring
  • Contribute and support to training within Global Pharmacovigilance (GPV)
  • Foster knowledge-sharing
  • Being a member of GPV SOP Governance team and coordinate as well as support/write standard operating procedures (SOPs) in GPV

QUALIFICATIONS

You have several years of experience from working with pharmacovigilance in the international pharmaceutical industry where you have gained a comprehensive and broad understanding of key pharmacovigilance activities and a solid interest in and flair for project management, training and negotiation. You must thrive in a role where you are the proactive driver, you are out-going, good at teamwork and good at establishing contacts and networks. You encourage, inspire and possess project/process management and training skills. You show “can-do” attitude, have an easy yet assertive personality, are flexible and have a high level of work capacity.

A key part of your role is to communicate across departments and at different managerial levels, you must therefore have good “people skills” and be able to communicate complex results. The company language is English and fluency in English with good verbal and written language skills is a given. Further, you are an experienced MS Office user.Seniority will be assessed based on your qualifications.

YOUR NEW TEAM
Compliance & Business Support is a staff function in Global Pharmacovigilance headed by the QPPV. You will join a small and agile well-functioning team of 6 highly dedicated and skilled colleagues. Each team member has dedicated areas of responsibility, works independently but interfaces, collaborates and gives support within the team in an open, constructive and good working atmosphere. You will be encouraged and welcomed to bring forth new ideas, discuss concerns and share feed-back with colleagues and management. The team works in close collaboration with our approx. 70 international colleagues in Global Pharmacovigilance as well as with a lot of other colleagues in the Ferring organisation supporting the Ferring Global Pharmacovigilance system and ensuring compliance.
