Regional Sales Director, Europe & MENA

As our current Regional Sales Director has chosen to follow other challenges out-side SKOV Group, we are looking for a replacement to manage the regions Europe and MENA and develop SKOV´s position in the market further.

SKOV develops, sells and services high-end production plants for animal production and is a particularly well-known brand on the market. SKOV acts globally on a growing market and is experiencing a significant increase in profits. You will refer to the global Chief Sales Officer and have management responsibility for 15 Area Sales Managers as well as overall sales across Europe & MENA, with expectation for minimum 10-20% annually growth.

Your primary tasks are management and development of your employees, together with whom you will develop and execute sales and service strategies for the individual markets. You are responsible for the overall sales budget for Europe & MENA, while also ensuring optimization of distribution channels, supplier networks and sales partners.

You follow the markets closely and identify new commercial opportunities and technical needs of the customers. You will also be a part of the company's overall sales management and contribute to projects across the organization.

Your role is thus operational in relation to discussion and participation in your employees' most important sales projects, while also handling important strategic tasks regarding analysis and implementation across the markets.

The working areas will be:

  • Profit/Loss responsibility for Europe & MENA
  • Develop implement and execute market strategy
  • Daily and hands-on leadership of the sales team
  • Appoint and develop key accounts, distributors and service partners

You have considerable experience with international sales management within BtB sales of large technical project solutions, preferably with software as part of the solution. You have experience from the Agro business and with the development of sales managers and the dealer networks on European and/or MENA markets. You have created sales growth by drawing attention to business value for the customer via ROI calculations and business cases, which show the customer optimization potential. You are probably a qualified engineer; alternatively, you have commercial qualifications with solid technical insight. With motivated communication and a flair for the individual development of each of the Area Sales Managers, you can increase sales on your markets. You are also business-oriented and have the ability to spot where you can create value for the customer. You are hard-working, well-organized and can keep a cool head in complex situations. You are a dynamic networker who thrives with a broad range of contacts both internally and externally and with many tasks running concurrently.


  • You will have 80-100 travel days in Europe & MENA annually.
  • In addition to English, it is preferable if you are fluent in one more foreign language.
  • You live in one of the regions EU or MENA
