Can you lead a team of skilled technical engineers in a growing department?
Help ensure that all our mould suppliers are on TOP and ready to deliver the needed moulds and mould parts for our global LEGO® set-up.

Core Responsibilities
• Run a global team and suppliers world wide
• Establish and maintain collaboration between streams and concept owners, mould design and internal customers
• Maintain current suppliers by assessment and always be on top of new potential suppliers to increase capacity
• Secure Suppliers can deliver the specifications both for Manufacturing and Molding processes
• Being close to internal costumers for GO LOOK SEE
• Secure all processes are followed and tools are updated

Play your part in our global succes
EMF is part of Elements & Moulds which is responsible for the LEGO® bricks and moulds can run within all standards in production. In EMF, we deliver Mould design, Manufacturing, Molding and Purchasing in close collaboration with Procurement. Output of 800 moulds, 400 mould boxes for internal setup and thousand of mould parts in 2020 as well as providing new systems for handling the business.

In 2021 we will increase our output by 25%.

This team is heading up the responsibility for delivering right quality and specifications, supplier assessment and training, working closely together with suppliers on improvements to tackle problems/ optimizes setup/ future capabilities/ leadtime and cost potentials.

Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate has an educational background within Production- or Mechanical Engineering, Toolmaker, Plastic maker or similar combined with a solid business end to end understanding at bachelor or master level, e.g. diploma in leadership or HD. You have relevant leadership experience or you are looking for your first People Management job. The most important part is that you have:

• An Engineering background and have worked with production of injection mould components, injection moulding processes or development of plastic components
• A proven track record on successful change management in a global organization
• Experience in project management
• ERP system understanding
• Intermediate English skills, both oral and written

As you will work closely with many stakeholders within and outside the LEGO Group, you are used to navigate in a dynamic environment as well as collaborating across functions. You are able to build a good foundation for your leadership by being a truly visible leader, focusing on employee motivation and satisfaction from day one and you can adapt to flexible working hours, due to colleagues from different time zones.

In addition to above, it will be an advantage if you have SAP knowledge and have experience working with statistics – being able to improve, decide, change and challenge decisions - based on data.
