Core Responsibilities
As Metrology Manager Specialist you will play a key role in shaping our future metrology solutions, bringing benefits of new technology and process into the full value chain. This will enable us to further develop the play experiences we provide and to reach many more children around the world. More specifically you will:

• Develop, improve and validate inspection methods for verifying LEGO® Elements & Mould Parts
• Mature and implement new metrology technology platforms to improve productivity and efficiency across our global value chain
• Join product and engineering development activities, providing verification solutions and support
• Conduct metrology training and drive capability building broadly in the LEGO group, promoting sound practices
• Drive improvement and problem-solving activities, by bringing relevant people together, setting expectations and following up on deliverables
• Collaborate with external suppliers, partners, and collaborators to create industry leading solutions for the LEGO Group

Play your part in our team succeeding
You will join our Elements & Mould Validation Platform team in Billund, consisting of 14 highly specialised colleagues. Our main responsibility is to enable our internal partners to verify and validate both LEGO® Elements and Mould Parts coherently across our value chain.
We do it in four groups focussing on Metrology Platforms and Methods, Calibration Setup and Execution, Element Validation Strategies, and IT Systems & Support.

Do you have what it takes?
You are one step ahead of the game and have a desire to learn more and soak up all the new information that comes your way, just as you will need to have the ability to adapt to new situations with ease. You are innovative and imaginative, and thinking out of the box comes naturally to you. Likewise, you are a great teammate with strong communication skills that enable you to build positive relationships and ensure that we all succeed together! In addition, you have:

• Engineering degree within quality, manufacturing, mechanics or similar
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working with metrology and quality assurance
• Hands-on experience working with Optical Video Scanning (GOM or similar) or Computed Tomography (CT), and relevant software
• Experience with surface characterization in an industrial context.
• Skilled in 3D CAD modelling and technical drawing, preferably in Siemens NX
• Skilled in evaluating measurement systems capability, with e.g. MSA, uncertainty budgets or similar
• Experience in driving small project teams by motivating, setting expectations, and following up
• Proficiency in English both written and spoken
