Do you want to play a key role in one of LEGO® Group’s fast growing international Business Units? Come join us!
Bring your expertise within forecasting and retail to help us develop and improve the LEGO Travel Retail business unit.

Core Responsibilities
• In this role you will generate the monthly item level forecast for travel retail on a global level and secure a strong flow of goods plan between our expected consumer sales and selling in plans. This includes both replenishment items as well as upcoming launches and promotions/new store openings.
• Be the owner of the monthly S&OP process within BU travel retail, facilitating an alignment to the plans between our bottoms up forecast, marketing plans - as well as sales expectations.
• Performing standard/ad hoc analytics across travel retail to support insights to performance; work closely with BI to define standard reports they can support with and ad hoc analysis.
• Participate in project related tasks, e.g. how can we reduce lead time to customers via changing our sourcing routes.
• Ordering of extended line product and working with extended line team and internally in travel retail.

Play your part in our team succeeding
The Demand Planner will be an integrated part of 2 teams. The direct reporting line will be to the head of retail planning. This team consists of 10 people located in US, UK, CH and DK. It is a highly collaborative team that stays connected although working in different time zones and countries.

Indirectly, you will report to the Head of BU travel retail and will be seen as an integral part of this team. This team is located in Billund and consists of 12 people across Sales, Marketing and Ordering, and will be your day-to-day working partners.

Travel retail as a BU is in a hyper growth mode with annual double-digit growth. It covers sales in Duty free areas via a partner setup. This means mostly sales in airports and e.g. cruise ships.

Do you have what it takes?
We are looking for an independent, proactive candidate who will be supporting the growing retail business. You will be the only demand planner with a 100 % travel retail focus, so it is an advantage to be able to work structured, creating processes and keeping deadlines.
We expect you to have:

• A Bachelors or Master’s degree within relevant field; e.g. supply chain management, analytics or business.
• Around 5 years of experience working with demand planning - ideally in a retailing environment that has been experiencing significant growth.
• Experience with proactively creating a collaborative environment and process that supports this.
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in working either in sales/marketing or have past experience in working in close collaboration with these functions.
• Working with SAP, we use APO for our final forecasting.
• Working with statistical modeling.
• Advanced English. Danish is nice to, as the role is in Billund – however it is not a must.

Join the global LEGO® family
Children are our role models. Their curiosity, creativity and imagination inspire everything we do. We strive to create a diverse, dynamic, and inclusive culture of play at the LEGO Group, where everyone feels safe, valued, and they belong.

Being part of the LEGO Group also means taking part in our annual Play Day, playing a part in building a sustainable future and continuing our mission to “inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.”

Build your career brick by brick at The LEGO Group.
