Are you a true electronic specialist combined with a strong quality mindset?
Help lead Quality Assurance and Risk Mitigation in Technology Development programs to assure a high quality and learning experience across LEGO® products – in close collaboration with external partners and suppliers.

Core Responsibilities
• Share and build Quality Assurance capabilities in electronic systems and components, industry value chain and supplier collaboration
• Assess & validate supplier quality assurance systems, processes and deliverables until the product is launched
• Onboard Design partners/suppliers to LEGO® Quality requirements for design & development activities
• Set objectives and targets for quality requirements and performance towards suppliers electronic systems and components and
• Identify and mitigate quality product & process risk in close collaboration with Design partner/supplier
• Recommend Quality go/no go decisions in supplier selection and at project gates
• Serve as liaison between Design & Development teams and partners to ensure that Quality Assurance requirements and deliverables are clear and transferred in the best possible ways

Join a highly collaborative and interdisciplinary Quality Driver Team that lead Quality Assurance and Risk mitigation in Technology Development programs and related projects to assure a high quality play and learning experience across LEGO® products in close collaboration with external partners & suppliers.

Partners & development teams across business, creative and technical disciplines are supported in developing a proactive quality mindset based on play and learning requirements and data driven decision making.

In this role you can be located in Billund, Denmark or Kladno, Czech Republic.

Do you have what it takes?
The ideal candidate hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering and a min. of 5 years work experience with quality and mechatronic systems/components, preferably from a larger global company in the EMS industry. In addition, we expect that you have experience within:
• APQP, DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) or DFX and preferably project management
• Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent
• Quality engineering or Technical engineering related to Mechatronic systems, components and industry value chain covering “full stack” of SW, FW and HW (5-10 years)
• Advanced Quality Assurance and Statistical capabilities (APQP, PPAP and DFSS) in external Design & Development partnerships with supplier relationship management

As a person you have a Quality Driver profile with a Data-driven and Systematic approach as well as strong people skills, facilitating and engaging people on all levels of hardcore tech specialists, creative souls and business leaders. You thrive in a highly global collaborative and interdisciplinary team environment and you are passioned about Technology in Play and Learning solutions. It will be an advantage if you are a Heavy IT user (Microsoft Office 365, MiniTab, SAP Team center and Big Data solutions) and have experience from collaboration with external development partners and suppliers.

You can expect up to 50 travelling days per. year and you speak fluent English as you will have close collaboration with many international colleagues.
