Core Responsibilities
As Metrology Manager Specialist you will be a key person to drive the development of a digitalized Factory and production setup regarding production of mould components. More specifically you will:

• Develop, improve, and validate inspection methods for verifying LEGO Mould Parts in a production environment of FTT mindset (First Time True)
• Mature and implement new metrology technology platforms to improve productivity and efficiency
• Join product and engineering development activities, providing verification solutions and support
• Conduct metrology training and drive capability building broadly in the LEGO group, promoting sound practices
• Drive improvement and problem-solving activities, by bringing relevant people together, setting expectations and following up on deliverables
• Overall responsible for service & support for the Insert Factory area in close collaboration with our global specialist team
• Collaborate with internal partners and external suppliers to build industry leading solutions

Play your part in our team succeeding
You will join our Insert Factory Mould Validation team in Billund, consisting of consisting few highly specialised colleagues, enabling the LEGO® group to verify and validate metal parts.

We are working on industrialization journey in the Insert Factory and need to automate CMM measuring and validation and make an integrated solution with our IT team.

You are one step ahead of the game and have an entrepreneurial mindset to influence the way we are going to automatize qualification in the future. You are innovative and imaginative, and thinking out of the box comes naturally to you. Likewise, you are a great teammate with strong communication skills that enable you to build positive relationships and ensure that we all succeed together! In addition, you have:

• Engineering degree within quality, manufacturing, mechanics or similar
• 3- 5 years strong proven experience working with metrology and quality assurance in manufacturing environment
• Experience / knowledge within Geometrical Product Specification (GPS) and Product Manufacturing Information (PMI) and automatization
• Experience with surface characterization in an industrial context.
• Skilled in technical drawing, and 3D CAD modelling
• Skilled in evaluating measurement systems capability, with e.g. MSA, uncertainty budgets, FMEA or similar
• Experience in driving Agile project teams by motivating, setting expectations, and following up
• Proficiency in English both written and spoken
