Senior IT Business Consultant with a strong commercial mind-set (Aarhus)

We are looking for an experienced Senior IT Business Consultant with a strong commercial mindset who can take the role as Client Engagement Manager with two of our major clients in Jutland.

The preferred candidate has a desire to manage, inspire and lead client engagements including collaborating with NNIT’s Sales and Delivery units to ensure the continuous development of our IT project portfolio with our largest clients.

Your responsibilities

You can expect to be deeply involved in two of our major client engagement team and thus take part in obtaining client intelligence, identify pain points and inspire the customer. All this to ensure a role as trusted advisor for the customer. This is a new role and you will be involved in defining the strategy leading to the client engagement approach. Tasks can vary from business case definition to large group facilitation and specific delivery responsibility.

For the perfect candidates this will require flexibility in terms of taking on various roles with our clients depending on your experiences and competences. The key driver for you should be your curiosity and eager to continuously drive and develop client engagements.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with the customers key stakeholders
  • Making the necessary analysis to identify pain points and ensure that NNIT always adds value and continuously develop our clients
  • Account planning and identification of upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Advising clients on adoption of new IT services and innovation
  • Addressing client issues and requests with speed and efficiency
  • Collaborating with NNIT Sales and Delivery teams to generate new business opportunities
  • Ensuring that contractual obligations are met in client projects
  • Managing forecasting and monthly invoicing for assigned client engagements
  • Preparing reports on project performance

You will be part of NNIT Consulting and the Private & Public Client Team

NNIT Consulting is an international consulting unit with departments in Denmark, Switzerland and Germany. We are approximately 170 consultants organized in various Client Teams and Service Teams. The candidate we are looking for is for our Private & Public Client Team in Aarhus and will primarily be working in Denmark.

The Private & Public Client Team in Aarhus currently consists of 12 consultants working with the largest companies in Jutland. We are a fast-growing team and have great ambitions to grow even more. We value working as a team with room for individual growth, and in NNIT Consulting we take pride in our culture.

We attract highly professional and enthusiastic management consultants and have the expectation that you - like the rest of the team - have the drive and ability to involve yourself in the client's assignments with great dedication. Your qualifications and experience

Most importantly, you demonstrate great drive and motivation, a business-orientated mindset and the ability to lead your colleagues and client team members to do their outmost. You can take full control, make decisions and ensure progress in demanding situations.

To succeed in this role, it is important that you have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as IT Business Consultant and/or Project Manager and preferably with client responsibility
  • Experience from roles like Project or Program Manager, Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Change Manager, senior IT advisor or IT business partner
  • Worked within consulting and possess an advisory mind-set
  • Experience from working in an integrated international delivery team
  • Sector experience within energy and supply, food and beverage or diary
  • A great passion for comprehending our clients’ business and seek an opportunity in identifying, driving and developing ongoing and new client engagements
  • Have a commercial mindset ensuring that both client demand and NNIT’s services are developed
  • Excellent presentation skills and comfortable with Executive Management presentations
