Hansen Technologies is a global provider of OSS / BSS and billing / customer care solutions for the 5G Telco industry. Hansen is seeking a Regional Sales Executive to focus on building out a partner and prospect network in the Latin America (primary) and North America (secondary) telecommunication industries.

To be successful in the role you must have previous Latin America Telecommunications sales experience and knowledge of regional System Integrators / Channel partners. You also must be a fast-moving, driven individual with a strong customer focus. You need to be confident and focused on delivering on your goals. We are looking to change our market profile with this role and therefore expect candidates who are proven performers with high expectations of themselves and of us. A solid track record of successful B2B sales or Channel management into this market will be required. The role will involve driving sales activities from initial prospect identification to deal closure.

To effectively manage this process, the appointed individual should be comfortable with direct customer consulting and opportunity development. The role will provide a fair amount of autonomy and therefore a highly motivated approach to generate leads, revenue, and achieve individual sales targets is essential.

The main responsibilities of a Regional Sales Executive for Hansen will revolve around the ability to network, identify, qualify and produce lead and pipeline generation, build relationships with clients, partners and System Integrators and persuade to purchase Hansen Technology’s suite of products. The development, management and articulation of market propositions, and achievement of defined revenue and sales targets.

There is a wide range of duties in this position, including but not limited to:

  • Product knowledge and literacy to construct sales pitches and presentations.
  • Stay abreast of market trends.
  • Identify and qualify possible sales channel partners as well as system implementors
  • Identify prospective telecommunication opportunities for lead generation and conversion into sale or pipeline
  • Recognize the needs of the consumer and provide detailed information to the consumer about the technical specifications of the computer software offered by the company.
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss needs
  • Emphasize the features of products to highlight how they solve customer problems
  • Answer questions about the products
  • Negotiate prices and terms and prepare commercial agreements
  • Collaborate with colleagues in pre-sales, development teams, and product managers to advise customers on technical matters and recommend appropriate software capabilities and configurations.
  • Travel to areas where needs are projected.
  • Help customers maximize the use of software features.
  • Advise on appropriate user training.
  • Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of technical specifications and other features of employers' systems and processes.
  • Maintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals.

Experience, Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Bilingual - Spanish and English is required
  • Ability to travel to Latin America extensively
  • College Degree or equivalent education plus experience is required
  • 5-10 years of experience direct selling to Telecom Industry Clients is required
  • Demonstrable sales success in the past 5+ years
  • Experience selling to medium to large companies; good at multi-tier selling, building strong C-level relationships (basically good at figuring out who the decision makers are and getting to them)
  • Track record of selling deals over $1M USD
  • High energy and motivation for lead generation and sales is required
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and CRM applications (Dynamics, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Experience, Skills and Knowledge Preferred

  • Experience selling Billing, CIS, data analytic, and related software products strongly preferred
  • Strong relationship skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

The role will report to the CEO, Americas in the New York City Hansen office located in the Empire State Building however; the individual can be based out of any geographical area in the US. You must have full working rights in the USA to be considered, sponsorship will not be offered.
