About the department
We are around 230 employees in Corporate Facilities based in Bagsværd, Hillerød, Måløv and Kalundborg. We drive strategic facility management in Denmark and are responsible for safeguarding, sustaining and continuously optimising Novo Nordisk property.

The job is in the department CFa Projects located in Bagsværd which consists of 14 dedicated employees. The main responsibility of the department is construction, relocation projects & contact with authorities and local management, as well as development and establishment of office facilities and general space management.

The position
We are looking for a structured project Associate willing to achieve a steep learning curve within all areas of the project office such as managing projects of varying size, budget and complexity in all phases of a project, planning and managing our project pipeline and handling our capacity models for workplaces, parking spaces, etc.

You will manage projects of varying size and complexity and you should expect to run many projects in different phases simultaneously. This will be done in close collaboration with the operating departments, local service centers and other relevant departments in Novo Nordisk. You will be the go-to person in terms of smoothly moving from project to operation. Stakeholder management is a significant part of the job as we work with facilities that affect many colleagues and processes.

You are given the full responsibility for the projects and you are expected to run the entire process from A-Z, which include;

  • Delivery and presentation of business cases for prioritization meetings
  • Management of consultants in connection with design phase, which include both construction and technical disciplines.
  • Ensures that the projects are executed in line with project plans, design and adhered to the schedule and budget.
  • Ensures commissioning of the projects, as well as successful handover to operations.

Beside managing the construction and technical projects You will have a strategic role in supporting the department in planning and managing our project pipeline and handling our capacity models as well as ensure strong and valid data from which decisions will be taken.

Qualifications
You probably have an education as a construction engineer, constructing architect, architect, or other relevant education, ideally with 1-2 years of experience with cross disciplinary coordination between technical and construction projects.

You have the flair for data and work in a structured way and easily get acquainted with new systems and digital working methods that can be transferred to the way you work with your projects, budgets, and business cases. You do well in communicating in Danish and English, both orally and in writing.

You are proactive and you can take initiative. You thrive working independently as well as in collaboration with others, also across professions and geography. You can handle multiple projects at a time; you keep the overview in pressured situations, and you are able to come up with solutions. You are energetic, result oriented and persistent, even when the tasks become complex and you experience some resistance.

As a person you are very trustworthy, and you are used to manage many stakeholders at different levels in the organisation.
