Core Responsibilities
In this newly established role, you will:

• lead relevant positive impact strategic initiatives within the next sustainability strategy period on Responsible Sourcing which may include developing and implementing new key signature interventions on e.g. Diversity & Inclusion

• spearhead trends and developments on Responsible Sourcing and broader sustainability topics in order to bring relevant insights and data into the strategic planning and decision making

• lead and facilitate the work with the next sustainability strategy on Responsible Sourcing from ambition setting to developing scenarios and condensing these into concrete plans

• support the execution of the current 2022 sustainability strategy on Responsible Sourcing including KPI and milestone reporting as well as continuously revisiting plans and ambitions

• drive Responsible Sourcing strategy steering group including develop framework for steering group meetings, prepare for and facilitate etc.

You will join our Responsible Sourcing team of 14 skilled and passionate colleagues who aim to ensure that the LEGO Group’s ethical, social and environmental requirements are met by suppliers, licensing partners and all LEGO® production sites.

These requirements are set out in the LEGO Group Responsible Business Principles (RBP) that all strategic suppliers and licensing
partners must adhere to.

The RBP has a key focus ensuring, that anyone involved in producing LEGO® products have fair and decent working conditions, as well as safeguarding children and minimizing environmental impacts.

The Responsible Sourcing team further develops and drives implementation of positive impact initiatives that goes beyond compliance.

Do you have what it takes?
The successful candidate comes with a relevant degree within economics, business administration, and/or management, combined with:

• 3+ years’ experience from management consulting or sustainability consulting where you have developed and ideally executed business strategies and reporting models

• experience with broader sustainability initiatives e.g. responsible sourcing or social impact and a good understanding of Supply Chain and Procurement functions

• knowledge of Environmental, Social and Governance topics including Diversity & Inclusion

• proven project management skills, resilience and prepared to work in an agile environment where challenging trade offs need to be made
