As a Mechanical Engineer at Tetra Pak, you will execute on engineering tasks associated with our standard machines as well as customized solutions to the ice cream industry.
Through your work, you will ensure that mechanical design and specifications are according to standards, specify and participate in test of own design solutions. Handle design changes and participate in trouble shooting and issue resolution on customer production issues.
Your daily work and interaction with your team, stakeholders, suppliers etc. offers a unique opportunity to put your mechanical engineering skills in play, in a dynamic environment.
You might expect a maximum of approx. 10-15 travelling days / year based on interest and need.
The position is based in Aarhus, Denmark
What You Will Do
- Handle order specific customisations on our standard machines.
- Design solutions from idea down to detailed design for advanced ice cream equipment.
- Mechanical design calculations including pressure systems.
- Lead and solve tasks by being analytical, having a systematic approach and testing to validate.
- Trouble shooting and Problem-solving activities, related to production or customer issues.

We believe you have:
- 5+ years relevant work experience.
- Background as mechanical engineer or similar
- Operational/technical experience with pressure systems and/or thermodynamic
- Experience in design and calculation of mechanical systems and components
- Experience in troubleshooting and issue handling on customer issues
- Experience in 3D Cad, preferably CREO.
- Experience within the food / dairy industry is an advantage.
- Familiar with ERP systems (SAP)
- You possess excellent English and Danish skills, both orally and in writing.
- Currently you live and are eligible to work in Denmark.
