Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience in a sales role in the enterprise software space
  • Experience with clients in the enterprise cybersecurity or IT field
  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience meeting and exceeding strategic business goals
  • Experience starting a sales area from the beginning, understanding the security partner ecosystem
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize sales activity and build relationships with C-level executives across security and IT business units with a high attention to detail
  • Knowledge of solution and product market trends in cybersecurity and cloud
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills

About the job
As a Security Sales Specialist, you will help us grow our cybersecurity business by building and expanding relationships with customers. You will demonstrate product functionality and provide a comprehensive overview of key business use cases. You will lead day-to-day relationships with external customer stakeholders, leading with understanding, while identifying innovative ways to multiply impact.

Responsibilities:

  • Construct and execute an effective area development plan. Advocate security products in the assigned area to security customers, meeting or exceeding quarterly goals.
  • Develop and drive pipeline, managing cycles from lead generation to customer onboarding.
  • Build and maintain relationships to influence long-term strategic direction. Act as an advisor to accounts.
  • Partner with various teams to understand the needs of the customer and provide excellent prospect and customer experience.
  • Represent Google Cloud Security in regional forecasts and meetings. Serve as a stakeholder to regional Google Cloud leads, reporting numbers and business performance accurately.
