We are hiring a product manager which is a newly created senior manager specialist role to support the digital transformation via product management of the planning, budgeting and forecasting processes across the LEGO Group.

Core Responsibilities
The product manager's role is to work closely with their stakeholders and the rest of the product team (usually members of the Finance Business Partnering & Digital Technology organisations) to understand the needs of our users and translate them into value for the company and a prioritised backlog for the product team to deliver against. Key focus areas:

Developing an aspirational vision and strategy for your digital product, in collaboration with the product team and key stakeholders, bringing them on this journey with you

Building an autonomous product team, promoting a continuous delivery culture focused on user outcomes and business value with measurable key results

Taking ownership of the product roadmap, backlog and requirement definition, and supporting the team across all key agile events

Providing feedback to the team in a way that is both positive and meaningful to their growth and personal development

Managing the delivery of planning platform and driving process improvements to global LEGO planning processes. This will include engaging and working with cross-functional teams across finance, operations, digital and business.

Delivering the implementation of a planning platform through agile methodology to digitally transform the planning processes at LEGO

Actively contributing to the process framework and planning policy definition; presenting to the leadership, recommendations on driving continuous improvement to planning processes

As part of our digital journey, we are ramping up our product management focus, moving from a primarily “waterfall” approach to digital (agile) development. In the CFO Organisation, we are responsible for several digital products, each having a product manager.

You will be the product manager for planning and controlling platforms and be responsible for driving an integrated business planning process across LEGO globally. The planning platform will be used by over 500 users across the world spanning multiple teams. You report into the Senior Director, BI and Planning Performance and will be a part of the Corporate Finance team.

Do you have what it takes?
Experience in leading high performing, cross functional agile product-teams, with a passion for delivering value to users early and often, having fun whilst doing it, and looking after your team

Have a thorough understanding of planning tools and applications used to support strategic and annual planning, forecasting, business performance reporting and analysis processes (Oracle or OneStream).

8+ years of experience from finance roles demonstrating experience in driving technology enabled digital transformation across FP&A

Brave leader, able to support, motivate and develop others

Able to balance big vision and detail

Curious, data-driven and passionate about solving user needs

Strong communication skills and empathy, building effective relationships with stakeholders quickly

Proven experience of working with senior stakeholders in finance and digital organisations
