Core Responsibilities:
• To develop and lead a high-performance team, which is continuously optimizing the Element Approval operations.
• To secure timely plans and its execution to support the strategic direction of The LEGO Group.
• Driving and participating in projects through own team and cross functional collaboration.
• Manage a team through empowerment, challenging status quo, leveraging the business needs/opportunities with the individual needs for development of the team members.
• Ensure, clear and daring expectations must be set to team members and, accountability & learning extraction are to be secured.
• Invest in developing and maintaining relations with peers and stakeholders.
• Be closely connected to customer needs, to have coordinated understanding and decision making, and to get things done.
• To own, maintain and continuously develop the Global Approval Process with the ambition to have it relevant, agile to meet needs, and making sure is globally implemented and complied.

Play your part in our team succeeding
The Element & Mould Validation organization consists of 5 Element Qualification teams (3 on-site in JIA, NYI and LOM), which support the daily operation on the site, and 2 teams in Billund); and 1 Platform team.
The Element Qualification teams are responsible for the daily operations of Verification and Approval of moulded elements and thereby the new moulds. Hence, the EQ teams are the guardians for the premium quality of the bricks we send out to consumers.

The Platform team is the responsible, among other things, for making sure their foundation to operate is in place, maintained and accurately developed and detailed. This foundation includes: Calibration, Systems (MCS) & Support and Metrology Platforms.

The purpose of this role is to develop a high performing Approval BLL team able to execute the operations of approving element quality for new moulds.

Do you have what it takes?
• Master’s degree/ Engineering Bachelor preferred
• Experience from a manager position in a similar job.
• 3-4 years’ experience on Injection Moulding technology, Metrology or Quality related
• MS office experience
• English language on a professional level.
