The LEGO Group Government and Public Affairs team is looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to join our global team as student worker.
This is an outstanding opportunity to gain experience in corporate responsibility and digital advocacy while supporting our public affairs engagement and government relations activities globally.
The position

In this position, you will play a key role in helping to drive our public affairs engagement and agenda across a diverse range of issues globally, not least by playing an instrumental role in our strategic priority to develop and deliver strong digital advocacy engagement.
Government & Public Affairs supports the LEGO Group’s mission to inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow.
We do this through strategic engagement with governments and related stakeholders, expanding market opportunities, protecting our business from political and legislative risk, and enhancing our reputation.
The role is part time, up to 20 hours per week. You will be part of our Global Policy and Engagement Team in Government & Public Affairs and based out of Billund, Denmark.
Core Responsibilities:
• Assist with reporting, monitoring, content planning and engagement for the Government & Public Affairs Twitter channel.
• Assist and contribute to the continued development of our digital advocacy strategy.
• Support with research and development of projects and initiatives within the areas of environmental responsibility, learning through play, and responsible digital engagement.
• Assist with event planning (virtual and physical), execution and post-event wrap up.
• Administrative tasks in support of project and partner execution
What we are looking for you to bring:
We are looking for a creative, thoughtful, self-motivated student worker with strong digital competencies and an interest in public policy, corporate social responsibility, and government affairs.
You show initiative and enjoy problem-solving and delivering results, and you have high integrity and work ethic.
• You are in the final year of your bachelor’s degree or have started your master’s degree in a field such as Communication, Business Administration, Political Sciences or other relevant studies at a Danish University or Business School
• Social media and digital savviness, ideally from an organisation/systems approach.
• Background or strong interest in public policy, international affairs, communication or similar.
• Excellent writing and communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong graphic skills and visual eye; especially excellent handling of PowerPoint
• Can work approx. 2 days a week (15-20 hours per week)
• English – Advanced (written + spoken)
