Being a Data Engineer student worker in Product Engineering Technology you get to be part of a team that handles Big Data from important IT solutions of the LEGO Sup-ply Chain.

Core Responsibilities
• Be part of developing data models and data pipelines to drive the product to-wards the vision of being a data driven digital product.
• Handle data collection and have a constructive mindset around data collection.
• Context-switch between being an advisor and a learner, taking in technical options and limitations and translating these into opportunities and work.
• Contribute and/or provide input to initiatives to help define the right data flow architecture.
• Technical sparring with other team members demonstrating eagerness to learn and experiment with an agile mindset
• Bring an experimental mindset

The Product Engineering Technology department provides solutions and technology for the engineering areas of the LEGO Group. We support everything from design to produced elements with areas like Element Design, Mould design, Mould production, Quality and Moulding in the factories impacting more than 4.000 LEGO colleagues.
As a Student Worker you get the chance to work with and make an impact on one of the product teams mentioned above.
The next level of digitalization, focusing on improved productivity in Product Engineering Technology, will be topics like data collection, data pipelines, and data modeling.

Do you have what it takes?
Be enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s degree study within Data Science or similar.

Knowledge or interest within some of the following areas:
• Data pipelines.
• Databricks.
• Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or others.
• Data compliance frameworks and regulation.
• Agile development methods and continuous delivery environment.
Be:
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Able to work in a multifunctional environment.
• A team player with a positive, brave, and curious mindset.
• Eager to learn and experiment.
• Ready for and enjoy a flexible and inspiring environment that embraces diversity.
• Be able to communicate effortlessly in English both written and verbally.
