About us
As project owner, Femern A/S is the company responsible for the planning, construction, and operation of the Fehmarnbelt tunnel. Femern A/S is a subsidiary company of the state-owned Sund & Bælt Group, who also is responsible for the Oresund Link and the Great Belt Link.

We are an organisation of very dedicated employees with Danish, German and international backgrounds and great experience from mega projects around the world. The position
You will become a part of the Technical Division in the Immersed Tunnel and Portal & Ramps Department.

You will be part of a small team responsible for the budget and cost management within three of the large contracts in Femern A/S.

Your key tasks will be:

  • Assist with preparation of budgets and budget follow-up
  • Participate in month-end closing process
  • Preparing and handling allocations of the Budget
  • Assist in the forecasting process
  • Review statements and invoices from contractors incl. VAT handling
  • Updating and maintaining systems and large data files
  • Cooperation with Finance Division
  • Provide ad-hoc analyses on cost/indices etc.

You will be working closely with both your own team as well as with other company units such as the Finance Division and the Project Finance Manager.

Your profile
You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or equivalent education.

The ideal candidate will have the following key competencies & qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Communicate financial items on both detailed and high level
  • Advanced Excel skills and a good system understanding
  • Good communication skills both orally and in writing – both in English and Danish
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and pro-active with good attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and in good integration with the team

Your remuneration package will be according to your qualifications, and you will be offered health insurance and other staff benefits.

You will be based in our Copenhagen office, working in Rødbyhavn occasionally.
