The role as Integration Specialist offers a great opportunity to be part of a winning team and furthermore be a strong enabler in shaping the success of our Aid & Relief team. You will be responsible for establishing a newly developed role, that aim at improving our customer onboarding processes, align IT and EDI expectations with our clients and constantly seek improvements when it comes to our IT/EDI/API capabilities as well onboarding flow.

In addition to above mentioned we also foresee a likely opportunity of growing the role and potentially developing it into a cross-functional team that can support our entire SPL (Special Project Logistics) organization.

The position will be located in Aarhus, but for the right candidate a remote setup could be considered.

Key Responsibilities
In the Aid & Relief team you will be an important part of a team of 35 experienced colleagues. You will be part of the management team along with three other Program Specialist and three Operation Managers.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Develop the function and establish a two-fold competence center that caters for Customer onboarding and Customer IT interfaces (e.g. EDI)
  • Act as the mediator between Sales and Operations within your given area of responsibility.
  • Act as trouble shooter on IT interface challenges and ensure we learn from our experience.
  • Leverage your stakeholder management skills to make full use of the Maersk organization and its competences to ensure you build an efficient and sustainable setup.
  • Challenge internal, as well external stakeholders when it comes to customer onboarding.
  • Provide oversight to the customer and internal stakeholders of the operational integration and progress in the priorities of the customer’s.
  • Explore new opportunities and ways to improve the IT/EDI and Customer Onboarding setup for our customers.
  • Establish, synchronize and execute on the customer onboarding process along with the customer and the respective Key Client Manager. All with the aim of standardizing our way of working to cater for scalability.
  • Collaborate and support the respective OPS teams to assure we embed best practices and continuous learning in our way of working. Become an ‘Operational Excellence’ ambassador and encourage operational staff to apply best practices.
  • Conduct periodic reviews with our customer on selected topics and performances to ensure an after-burner is installed and that we listen to our customers.
  • Assess and agree with the customer on improvement opportunities and quantify the value of those.
  • Lead improvement and corrective projects and ensure the learnings are captured and distributed in Maersk.
  • Lead the implementation of new customer businesses for Maersk.

  • Understanding and passion for driving Operational Excellence in the business
  • Understanding and passion for Project Management as well IT/EDI capabilities.
  • Passion for driving continuous improvement and excellent customer experience.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and influence decision makers via sound stakeholder management.
  • Proven and sustained track record of delivery, with focus on driving results through others.
  • Excellent communication skills, including both verbal and written in English.
  • Ability to travel approx. 5-10 days a year
