Project Managers for Freeze Drying
SD Freeze Drying in Birkerød is looking to fill two Project Manager positions as we continue to expand our activities.

The job
As Project Manager in SD Freeze Drying, you will uphold a central position being involved in all phases of the projects - from sales, doing the conceptual designs and calculations through the engineering phase, managing the project, keeping track of communication, project tasks, resources and the project timeline, to the final commissioning onsite.

Areas of responsibility are:

• Scope factories and projects in collaboration with sales and customers – including customer contact as part of the sales process and project execution
• Project Managing
• Dimensioning and calculation for process equipment selection – here Freeze Dryers, robotic filling- and emptying modules as well as both the up- and down-stream equipment
• Project finance and follow up
• Work with internal and external suppliers to find the right equipment for a given task
• Project meetings (internal/external)
• Participate in customer trials in our pilot plant when needed.

The core technology is freeze drying combined with robot technology forming complete freeze drying process lines for e.g. instant coffee, fruit and vegetables and nutraceuticals.

You will be working closely together with other divisions of the SiccaDania organisation responsible for other technologies included in the processing lines/projects.

The right candidate will be focused on delivering on-time and first-class quality.
The candidate should have a background as a Bachelor of Technology Management or Mechanical/Process engineer or equivalent, mastering English at business level, both verbally and written, as well as good communication skills.

The candidate must have a minimum of +5 years of industrial experience with food processing equipment as well as hands-on experience as a Project Manager on process equipment projects. The perfect candidate has a background within designing, installing and operating process equipment especially freeze drying equipment.
