Student Assistant for Marketing and Business Development
Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects is looking for a bright, curious Student Assistant to join our high-energy in-house communications and business development team based in Copenhagen.
You will assist with marketing tasks such as - but not limited to - developing/creating social media content, video, photography, copywriting, and visual strategy and graphic design. You'll work within our brand guidelines to create designs that captivate our target markets. You will leverage your passion for design to collaborate on innovative ideas that drive brand awareness, social media engagement, earned media, and website traffic.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student seeking hands-on experience in communications through social media and design.
What you’ll do
- Plan and prepare marketing and communication materials
- Generate ideas and create content for SHL’s SoMe channels
- Prepare project materials, reference sheets, CVs, and presentations, etc.
- Assist in editing, translating, and proof-reading communication material
What we look for
- Ideally you are studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree in ex. communication, creative communication, digital design, or graphic design
- Experience with graphic design and illustration using Adobe Creative Cloud products (self-taught candidates are welcome!)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Danish and English
- You have an in-depth understanding of social media and content creation, and understand the different approach to each of the channels
- Have an independent, organized, proactive, and conscientious work style with an excellent eye for detail
- Thrive in a dynamic, busy, and international environment
- Intend to work with us for at least a whole semester, preferably longer

Practical information
The position is part-time (between 12-15 hours weekly), and you will be working from our office in Copenhagen most days with the option to work from home occasionally.
