Digital is ROCKWOOL Group’s global IT organization with more than 250 employees, and they supply global solutions and connectivity to around 11.000 ROCKWOOL employees in more than 40 countries.

ROCKWOOL is in the middle of a digital journey focusing on digitizing the customer journey end-to-end from customer engagement over manufacturing to delivery. They are working on transforming and digitizing the Sales and Marketing processes to create closer relationships with their customers and handle the higher demand for customized products and project sales (e.g., Rock_Zero and Rockfon). The next level of digitizing will focus on product configuration, product calculators, digital customer learning, customer service and quotation. SAP ERP is the core platform, and they are streamlining SAP and concurrently adding new Sales and Marketing solutions to enable more efficient processes and to prepare for the next generation ERP landscape. To support those initiatives, Digital design and implement digital solutions in close collaboration with their business stakeholders.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As the Solution Architect, you will have a leading role in designing the Sales and Marketing processes, target architectures and digital solutions in close collaboration with the Sales and Marketing stakeholders. You will be innovating solutions for product configuration, calculators, and quotation and much more. You will be a part of the Enterprise Architecture team of ROCKWOOL and will be a trusted advisor for business management, IT management and vendors ensuring solution fit with their strategy and enterprise architecture.

Your primary tasks and areas of responsibility:

  • Create and maintain target business and digital architecture and roadmaps for Sales and Marketing that are aligned with the corporate IT landscape and business stakeholders
  • Engage in digital projects to deliver the right quality in the solution design and implementation
  • Engage in new ideas and concepts, collect requirements, assess, and recommend new solutions, develop business cases, and recommend projects and deliveries to management
  • Engage with the business stakeholders in Group and operational companies to align on requirements and new solutions

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
The candidate is expected to have a degree in Business Administration, IT, Engineering or similar and at least 5 years’ experience with design and implementation of solutions within the customer journey with focus on sales and marketing - and you are familiar with solution architecture and process modelling methods. You possess a natural interest in IT, process optimization, automation, architecture, digital solutions and how it can benefit the business.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Prior experience designing and implementing digital solutions within product configuration, quotation, CRM, PIM and eCommerce and like
  • Long experience with SAP ERP within the sales and marketing area including business process analysis and design
  • Designed complex IT landscapes including data models and integrations
  • Strong analytical skills and focus on providing visible business results
  • A natural talent for communication and presentation, and strive for close relationships with your stakeholders
